La Galería Fashion Space en la London College of Fashion exhibe hasta el día 14 de julio 2012, "Go Figure: New Fashion Illustration", el segundo de una serie de exposiciones que muestra los más brillantes talentos jóvenes en el ámbito de la moda. La serie incluye el trabajo de creadores todavía no muy conocidos, pero algunos de los más destacados de su generación, cuya obra toma su lugar entre los mejores de la práctica contemporánea, y al mismo tiempo define futuras orientaciones, agendas y los gustos de la creación de moda.

Esta exposición reúne más de 60 obras de 13 ilustradores de moda internacionales que ejecutan trabajos en una variedad de medios, de lo digital a lo hecho a mano, dibujado a través de la física. La mayoría de los ilustradores traen influencias de otras disciplinas como el diseño de moda, diseño gráfico, fotografía y cine, lo que da una idea de un campo creativo que es verdaderamente polifacético.

Lista de participantes: el ilustrador Richard Kilroy on sede en Londres,  el ilustrador ruso Artaksiniya con sede en Hong Kong, Tara Dougans, la ilustradora Hanna Mueller con sede en Gotemburgo, el ilustrador finlandés Jarno Kettunen con sede entre Bruselas y en Atlanta, Rosie McGuinness con sede en Londres, la diseñadora de moda e ilustradora Zoya Smirnova, Lesley Barnes basada en Glasgow, el diseñador gráfico e ilustrador italiano con sede en Parma, Cristian Grossi, la ilustradora finlandesa Laura Laine, el dúo sueco Ingela Och Vi, la diseñadora de moda e ilustradora basada en de Madrid, Eugenia Alejos y el ilustrador y fotógrafo con sede en Berlín, Sabine Pieper.

"Go Figure: New Fashion Illustration" ha sido comisariada por Ligaya Salazar, curadora de programas contemporáneos en el Museo Victoria y Albert, y Polona Dolžan, curadora independiente.

The Fashion Space Gallery at London College of Fashion showcases until 14th of July, 2012, "Go Figure: New Fashion Illustration", the second in a series of exhibitions which shows the brightest young talents across the field of fashion. The series includes the work of not yet widely known makers, but some of the most outstanding of their generation, whose work takes its place among the best of contemporary practice, while also defining future directions, agendas and tastes around fashion creation.

This exhibition brings together more than 60 works by 13 international fashion illustrators who execute work in a variety of media, from the digital to the hand-drawn via the physics. Most of the illustrators bring influences from other disciplines including fashion design, graphic design, photography and film, which provides an insight into a creative field that is truly multi-faceted.

Featured illustrators: London based illustrator Richard Kilroy, Hong Kong based Russian illustrator Artaksiniya, Tara Dougans, Gothenburg based illustrator Hanna Mueller, Brussels and Atlanta based Finnish illustrator Jarno Kettunen, London based Rosie McGuinness, fashion designer and illustrator Zoya Smirnova, Glasgow based Lesley Barnes, Italian graphic designer and illustrator based in Parma Cristian Grossi, Finnish illustrator Laura Laine, Swedish duo Ingela Och Vi, Madrid based fashion designer and illustrator Eugenia Alejos, Berlin based illustrator and photographer Sabine Pieper.

"Go Figure: New Fashion Illustration" has been curated by Ligaya Salazar, Curator of Contemporary Programmes at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and Polona Dolžan, independent curator.
