Nattofranco Ni-Line SS15

Headed by half-Japanese, half-French-Parisian Noemie Aiko Sebayashi, Nattofranco is a rising fashion label represented by two identities. First one being ‘Natto’, a traditional Japanese fermented soybean dish. The second called ‘Franco’, the French in Sebayashi and what she lives by, ... her muse, Japan.

Nattofranco’s Spring/Summer 2015 of her ‘Ni Line’ range, expresses the recurring fantasy of the female body and the cult of the "athletic chair"… Sebayashi suggests with this collection sensual female body parts that are connected with dots on prints. The offering is based on the aesthetic of a powerful fantasy woman, cultivated by the retro-futuristic imaginations of Japanese artists such as Peter Sato or Shusei Nagaoka.

Similar to the label’s ‘Itchi’ line (meaning ‘one’ in Japanese), ‘Ni Line’ has a sportswear style look, complemented by different prints, new cuts, and a streetwear vibe. Loose shapes and a cleaver choice of fabrics such as the rugby jersey variations and the breathable motocross fabrics…
