Foam Amsterdam opens on 22nd of January a new exhibition showcasing the work of famed French photographer Jacques Henri Lartigue (1894-1986).

Born into a prosperous middle class family in Paris, Lartigue focused his camera on the carefree existence in and around his own family circle.

Renown for his spectacular photos of car races, planes and people and animals in motion.

But it was his impressive color photography that is less known… Lartigue’s “Life in Colour” reveals this not so know aspect of his oeuvre.

Jacques Henri Lartigue - Life in Colour will be on view at Foam from 22nd of January throughout 3rd of April 2016 at Keizersgracht 609, 1017 DS Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
