South African fashion designer Lukhanyo Mdingi embraces minimal aesthetics through his clothing. With the aim to find the balance between line, form and texture, Mdingi crates clean minimal looks that are distinct and powerful with a flare of modern elegance and sophistication. Mdingi will be showcasing his latest collection at Pitti Uomo 89 Generation Africa on 14th of January.
Lukhanyo Mdingi’s SS16 collection is influenced by oriental aesthetics, using this as a source to blur the lines of gender. Titled Taintless, the SS16 collection aims to be interpreted for all individuals, rather than focusing on his and her fashion. Keeping it clean, timeless, neat, free flowing.
