For the upcoming Fall/Winter 2016 season, SUNNEI proposes a range of classic and timeless garments elaborated with soft fabrics, … aiming to consolidate the everyday closet of a modern man. The fourth collection comes in warm tones as camel beige which makes it’s appearance throughout the ensemble, over comfortable velour sweatsuits and a particular robe-like coat breaking from the brand’s signature muted blue palette.
Burgundy and a bold emerald green play a special role on the garments as they playfully interact with stripes and check patterns. FW16 sees an exclusive artistic collaboration with Michele Papetti who contributed with graphic imagery messing up SUNNEI’s clean and minimal aesthetics over white t-shirts and crewneck sweaters. Smooth wool knits, fine sweaters and oversized silhouettes are the protagonists, offering clients essential, easy-to-wear garments.
Following to the successful opening of SPAZIO SUNNEI and its presence at the Triennale Museum for a special exhibition on MADE IN ITALY, the growth of the brand is enhanced by the introduction of it’s first footwear line designed around an indented VIBRAM sole.
Set in an imperial, luxurious location in the heart of Milan, the FW16 presentation sees the models challenge each other in a musical chairs game to convey the concept of never taking yourself too seriously. A sarcastic opposition between a childish game and the complexity of the luxury industry.
