After graduating from prestigious Central St. Martins with a degree in menswear fashion design, Sara Loi launches her eponymous label. Characterized by the use of tailoring details, the Rome based designer’s creations are contemporary, versatile, with a hint o waggishness…
Loi’s design blends Italian craftsmanship and a sense of quality with Nordic minimalism and fundament. Her line is a deviant, atypical take on the basic wardrobe with a few signature pieces. Loi does not aim to dictate a sale of her own, but rather leaves it for the wearer to define it’s role.
A newcomer to our STORES, Loi starts off this venture by introducing us the Spring/Summer 2016 collection with many unisex pieces. A proposal inspired by the work of Hungarian-born modernist, architect and furniture designer Marcel Breuer; who unified functionality and beauty in his constant conflict between form and space.
The Kimono style JKT takes the center stage for SS16 season. Still so contemporary nowadays, and assembled in a different manner, with a simple silhouette, blend with the surrounding, whilst asserting it’s own individuality.
Functional elegance and skilled craftsmanship all ‘Made in Italy’ using only certified Eco-friendly materials such a hemp, organic cotton, bamboo and regenerated denim.
