Plùs Que Ma Vìe - Recycle Fall/Winter 2016/17
For this upcoming Fall/Winter season menswear label Plùs Que Ma Vìe proposes an up-beat collection. Conducted by designer Andrea Lazzari, the offering is all about recycling, recovery and rebuilding of clothes. By deconstructing, fusing and blending post-punk with minimalism.
Plùs Que Ma Vìe’s Recycle FW16/17 collection is about working on ourselves, redefining forms and stereotypes linked to the brand’s experience. Inspired by the last New Order album, as a vehicle of communication from which the brand choose to decode their concept lines and identity of the collection.
Venturing on ‘chic’ streetwear, radicalizing and redefining their perception of formal vs informal, mixing democratic elements like basic denim, which was given a bit of a stir, giving way to a more modernized final look. Plùs Que Ma Vìe blended luxurious materials such as cashmere, leather and 100% Made in Italy wools with other basic elements.
The color palette presents hues of grey and beige, the all black elegance, different shades of red, blue denim, white and bordeaux. “Recycle is a melting pot of cultures and ideas (…) a heat vortex which puts us close to our social situation, making fashion the best means to represent a common thought” - Plùs Que Ma Vìe
