Blondey McCoy is the young bright mind behind British label Thames London. He splits his time between being a fashion designer, an artist with 2 exhibitors up-to-date, and being a professional skater riding with Palace Skateboards.
The 18 year old launched his label Thames London 3 years ago; a young and fun line just like the designer himself. Thames London is at it’s core relaxed and rebellious with a strong influence of skate wear.
The SS16 collection is inspired by the river Thames, from where the label takes it’s name, and skateboarding on the South Bank, experienced by the designer himself. SS16 offers The Big Smoke printed t-shirts, shirts with graphics that include HMS London and Kristy MacColl.
“I want to do cheesy London landmarks, black cabs and all that kind of stuff because it’s fun and young and it’s not to be taken too seriously” - Blondey McCoy
