Infront has entered the betting space with the launch of Infront Bettor, a business arm that will deliver sports rights and data to betting operators worldwide.
Infront owns the rights to data across 30 federations, including the EFL, Turkish Super Lig, Coupe de France and numerous ice hockey leagues.
The company’s acquired rights cover 18,000 hours of content per year across 20,000 events from 30 countries. Infront will retain these rights for the next three years.
The rights and data purveyor has partnerships with top football leagues Serie A and the Premier League, as well as with the Olympics, the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship and Champions Hockey League.
Infront Bettor will offer 24-hour technical support to operators on a dedicated video platform, ensuring clients have low latency data and video streams.
The newly created subsidiary hopes to add contracts with a broader base of clients before the end of the year.
Once integrated, Infront Bettor will offer operators a mapping solution to streamline booking, data integration and content broadcasting.
Infront VP of Media, Betting & Technology Amikam Kranz said: “We see real potential in providing this new Infront Bettor service for betting operators which, as a result, will improve fans’ experience of watching sport.
“Not only does this new team diversify Infront’s business further, but it will help combine our media and technological expertise to unlock additional revenue streams for our many stakeholders.”
Head of Infront Bettor Chris Catling added: “We want to launch products that increase engagement, utilise Infront’s experience working with broadcasters and, ultimately, use that to improve the offering available to betting operators.
“Linking with the Infront sponsorship team and its deep relationships with sportsbooks for sponsorship has already provided us with a great synergy, as we enter the market with Infront Bettor.”
