BMM Testlabs has unveiled a new business unit.
Its so-called BMM Innovation Group, or BIG for short, is the company’s newest venture, a venture that has been given a broad remit in a bid to safeguard “the gaming industry’s future growth.”
In this regard, BIG is concerned about various issues, including technological development, cybersecurity and virtual education.
These latter two areas would appear to be of particular importance; BMM’s CEO Martin Storm called them “two major components of business continuity in the world post-pandemic.”
“The ‘BIG’ idea is aligned to BMM’s vision and is centred around protecting the gaming industry’s future growth, providing a new layer of security and comfort for those that work within it, and making sure that we are all informed about relevant issues,” he said.
“By bringing together two of our previously established businesses, BIG Cyber and RG24seven, we are already tackling cybersecurity and providing online education for gaming employees.”
As its name would suggest, BIG Cyber is focused on cybersecurity. RG24seven, meanwhile, delivers virtual education on responsible gambling, anti-money laundering (AML) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) issues.
“The BMM Innovation Group will be at the forefront of innovation, providing unique, high-quality technical solutions and services, bringing enhanced value to the gaming industry,” commented Amit Sharma, BIG’s CEO.
“BIG Cyber, BIG’s cyber defence company, is growing rapidly and we are helping casinos improve the security and integrity of their networks and systems.”
Meanwhile, Wendy Anderson, RG24seven’s CEO, added: “RG24seven was established to provide world-class gaming industry training that is easily accessible 24/7.
“This training across responsible gambling, AML, CSR, sports betting, tribal gaming, gaming technology and much more is relevant now more than ever.”
