Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has made a new appointment.
Elizabeth Dorgan Bermeosolo will join GLI’s Latin America & Caribbean Team, serving as Government Relations and Business Development Executive for Spain.
As her new job title would suggest, Bermeosolo will be based in Spain, where she will help GLI clients to “capitalise on the many crossover opportunities” throughout Spain and Latin America, among other regions.
“We are excited to have Elizabeth join the GLI team, where she will focus on the region’s land-based and online gaming, sports betting and lottery client needs,” said Karen Sierra-Hughes, VP of Latin America & the Caribbean.
“GLI is committed to providing first-class service to the Spanish market, and we look forward to developing a closer and stronger collaboration with the Spanish industry.”
Bermeosolo is herself Spanish, and has previously worked for Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), where she served as an account manager before moving to Spearhead Studios.
The latter company was Bermeosolo’s most recent employer before her new appointment. During her almost three-year-long tenure at Spearhead, she held multiple roles.
These include account and sales manager, account management team lead and, immediately prior to her latest career move, Commercial Manager.
Bermeosolo’s background more generally is in hospitality. She holds a Master Executive degree in Hotel Management, Restaurant and Food & Beverage, as well as a Bachelor of Tourism degree.
Sierra-Hughes added: “With Elizabeth on board, and our continually expanding GLI Spain laboratory, we are more than ready to support our clients’ expansion objectives with timely and thorough services.”
