Stake.com will serve as an official partner of the European Cricket Championships 2022 (ECC), set to run through 14 October.

A ten10 tournament, ECC is hosted by the European Cricket League (ECL) and will this year see 21 teams compete over a five-week period.

During that time, Stake.com, a cryptocurrency-focused betting platform, will benefit from enhanced exposure.

The partnership includes branding across international TV programme graphics, which will be seen by more than 40 million viewers per day, according to ECL estimates.

“European Cricket is proud to partner with Stake.com, one of the most innovative and engaging companies within this sector, for the European Cricket Championships 2022,” said Roger Feiner, ECL Chief Executive.

He added: “Like Stake.com, we are innovators, and we believe there can be a lot of overlap between our companies when it comes to principles and best practices.

“We are particularly excited about our new evening matches for Stake.com that will be broadcast primetime into the cricket key markets.”

This agreement will complement Stake.com’s existing partnerships with other sporting organisations, such as Everton FC, with whom it inked a sponsorship deal in June.

Also in the world of English football, Stake.com and Watford FC extended an ongoing sponsorship agreement in late July.

“We are excited for this partnership with the European Cricket Championships,” said Dominic Rae, Sponsorship Manager at Stake.com.

“We have been impressed with the tournament’s growth and cricket is a sport with an enormous and passionate fan base.

“We are looking forward to seeing some top-class action across the 120 matches of the tournament.”
